Bi-Lo Competitor Match-Up!

If you live around the Cleveland-Chattanooga, TN area- your Bi-Lo might be one of the stores that accepts competitor coupons in addition to MFR coupons (ask a manager to be sure).  Hooray for you!  There are some rules though:

  • Limit of 3 per customer/per transaction
  • Coupons must be for nearby competitors (i.e. FLIPs, Target Printables, Publix ad coupons)
  • No "$ off $$" amount coupons
  • Coupons for competitor store brands will work on Bi-Lo store brands (Food Lion chips = Bi-Lo chips)
  • It's EXTREMELY kind of these Bi-Lo's to offer us this opportunity for extra savings, so respect their right to make certain limitations, and do not abuse the privilege.

  1. woo hoo - more biscuits!!

Now - after many trials to make sure - I have something to add to the "you can freeze canned biscuits" info. Yes, you can freeze the whole can - they will make not fluffier biscuits - but they are great as opposed to making them from scratch early saturday morning. But - if you take them out of the can and flash freeze them on cookie sheets - you can make your own "pillsbury singles" biscuits. Freeze them and load up your freezer bags for one biscuit, two or twenty - they come out as fluffy as they were before freezing. :D I froze 80 biscuits today - after I made sure this would work.

So - use those coupons and fill the freezer. Another idea - bake biscuits until golden, cook sausage or bacon, bake eggs in muffin tins, add a piece of cheese and you got bacon/egg and cheese or sausage/egg and cheese biscuits for a quick breakfast during the week.
