K-Mart Coupon Troubles

Well, what seemed too good to last, was in fact too good to last.  The $10 off $20 Kmart Coupon that appeared yesterday to the great delight of the couponing masses, is being refused at MANY Kmart stores either at the cash register or with signs posted at the entrance.  An email from corporate has been sent out to the stores, advising them NOT to accept the coupon (even though it was posted on Kmart's website).
*Note: Some have reported that it will be honored starting next week?  Ha.  Don't hold your breath.

Sometimes printable coupons are intended for a certain small group of people, but end up available to the general public (How, we don't know) -  then the stores go into panic mode.  We & our sweet, sweet diaper deals get summarily shut down.

Part of me kind of wonders if they don't do this sort of thing on purpose, you know?  Drum up lots of excitement, send people rushing to the stores, and then refuse to accept your coupons.  I guarantee you about half the people who'd planned to use that coupon bought their items anyway, out of convenience, humiliation, or just plain defeat.

If anyone's K-mart IS still accepting this coupon - please leave a comment so we know!

Food Lion Free Cheese & Sour Cream!

Okay, I know I posted a few Dairy-O Scenario-O's yesterday for Food Lion, but here is the best scenario I can fathom, and results in free cheese, sour cream, and even a couple bananas! (My filler item of choice)

Buy:
(4) Bags of Kraft Cheese ($10) + 1 Breakstones ($1.79) + 81¢ of Filler =$12.60
Use:
(2) BOGO Kraft Blinkies (Subtracts $5.00) = $6.60
(1) $2/2 Kraft Blinkies = $5.60
(1) 60¢/1 Breakstones PRINT = $5
Get $5 Instant Savings at Checkout wyb 5 Select Kraft Products

(Makes it all FREE!)

COUPON LOGIC: When you buy 4 items and use (2) BOGO coupons, you are getting 2 for free.  The BOGO coupons attach to those free items.  Therefore you can still use a coupon on the "Buy One" items - which I did by using the $2/2 Kraft coupon above.  Just wanted to clear that up, in case that mystified anyone!

$2/1 Nivea Bodywash Coupon!

Go HERE to print a coupon for $2/1 Nivea Bodywash for Women (use your back arrow to print it twice). Now save them for a bit, because I have a gut feeling this is going to make for a good drugstore deal sometime in the near future!!

Huggies Diapers: $1.25 at Kmart!

Kmart?  That's right!  Of all places to score a sweet diaper deal, I wouldn't have thought Kmart.  However, with the new $10 off $20 coupon HERE, plus the HOT $3/1 Huggies coupon HERE - it can be done!!  Thanks goes to Jill for trying this out and confirming it - Here's the scoop:

Buy (2) packs of Huggies diapers @ $9.99 each

Buy Tiny Filler for at least a few cents

Total = $20.00 + Tax

Use the $10 off $20 Kmart coupon

Use (2) $3/1 Huggies coupons PRINT

(Pay around $4.00 = $2.00 each!)

Another Deal, involving the $3 Catalina found HERE in the ad:

Buy (2) packs of Huggies diapers @ $9.99 each

Buy Colgate 8.5 oz Toothpaste @ $2.50

Total = $22.50 + Tax

Use the $10 off $20 Kmart coupon

Use $1/1 from 3/7 SS or 75¢/1 PRINT

Use (2) $3/1 Huggies coupons PRINT

(Pay $5.50 ~ Get $3 Catalina Back = $1.25 each + FREE Toothpaste!)
*The $3 Catalina will go on your Kmart Rewards Card - which, honestly, I haven't signed up for yet, so I'm not sure how that works!

FREE Pixable Photo Book - Only $2.99 Shipped! (UPDATE)

UPDATE: The website is loading slowly tonight - maybe because the offer just launched today. Just click on the link provided, and if the page loads as a blank - just try again a moment later!

Here a new freebie on the photo book front!  Get a 22 Page, 8" x 5.5" Photo Book for free - just pay the $2.99 for S&H!
Pixable is different from other photobook sites in that, besides uploading pics from your computer (which takes forever) you can use your or your friends photos on social networks (Facebook, Flickr, ...) without having to upload them.  NO UPLOADING!  That sounds like an easy way to make a fun photo book for a friend, a brag book for Grandma, etc..

I just made one of these, so I can tell you how it works:

1)  Go HERE to get your newcomer offer, and choose the 22 Page Softcover 8x5.5 Book.

2)  It will ask you to type in your facebook name - it completes all the registration info for you that way, and is linked to yours and your friends photos so they're available to you

3) Choose the color/theme of your book

4) You will be presented with all your/your friends Facebook albums.  Choose any pics you want out of these albums.  I love that you can even pick from your friends albums!  (I used several from my brother's).

5)  Choose 1 Photo to be on the cover, and either click "Autofill" or if you're picky, arrange them all special. (I was lazy, so I autofilled)

6) About 1 minute later it's done!  Just enter coupon code "FREEPIX" at checkout to deduct the $7.95 it normally costs to make this size book.  This took me all of 10 minutes total, to make a little book of grandkid photos to send my mom.
