If you don't know anything about this magazine, it is my personal favorite magazine EVER.  It's like Martha Stewart for the hipster - I want to do every single project in there!  The fun and inspired DIY projects are rated from "CHIMP" to "Handyperson Complete With Toolbelt" to give you an idea of difficulty (I'm on the chimp end of the spectrum).  I love reading the McGuyver Challenge- where they take everyday throwaway objects (i.e. old t.v. remotes) and challenge readers to come up with a project for them (i.e. very weird dresser drawer handles). I got a subscription last year for Christmas, and didn't renew this year because I was too cheap.  But now I will!!!

If you are a hip, creative DIYer (or want to be), you'll love this magazine - if you know someone else who is, they'll love it as a gift!

NOTE: Each issue (6 a year) is so popular and memorable that people routinely sell them on Ebay for at least $1.99 per issue - I'm talking issues from 4 years ago are still selling for a few bucks each!  Just something to think about, if you get the subscription and finish it, you can always make triple your money back in the end!
