If you have been holding onto that $2/1 ALL Detergent Coupon from the 1/3 RP- just waiting for a really sweet deal - then your day has come!! Big Lots has All Detergent on sale 2/$5 this week, but alas, they don't accept MFR coupons. Here's how to get 50¢ bottles of detergent:
1) Go to Big Lots and snag their weekly ad off the stand (or maybe you got it in your paper).
2) Take it to Target or Wal-Mart and do a price-match (Target may say "No" on the grounds that the wording reads "2/$5". They are becoming quite picky at some Targets....)
3) Use your $2/1 Coupon to get it for 50¢ a bottle!
Don't have that $2/1 Coupon? Don't fret! Go PRINT a $1/1 ALL Coupon to pay only $1.50 a bottle! You should be able to print 2 per computer, so go stock up!

Thank you for the post! My insert was $3.00/2, so it made them $1.00 each, which is still an awesome deal!! Target matched the price, but Wal-Mart on 153 in Hixson would not, so I ended up going to Soddy Daisy where they did. Again, thanks!
ReplyDeleteI did this at Target yesterday - no problems at all. WooHoo!! Between that and the free snuggle dryer sheets and $1 snuggle liquid softener - we're all set for the next 6 months...LOL.
ReplyDeletedoes this work at the walmart in Fort O? They can be picky.
ReplyDeleteBecky - I wouldn't know about your personal Wal-Mart, it's true that depending on management/cashiers your experience can vary GREATLY. Because Big-Lots is a closeout store, I could foresee that a possibility exists that they may not call it a competitor. However, that is the only thing I can see that might enter into this not working.
ReplyDeleteGood luck - and let us know how it goes!
