If you look reeeaaally close - you can see that butter was 59¢ and "wieners" were 69¢ - I think it's pretty neat that we can still get those items at those prices today by using coupons!

I was hunting around for neat vintage shopping pictures (It's a hobby, I'm a dork) and I found this great old photo of a very early Publix Market!

I don't know where you're shopping, but I get butter for free!*giggle*
ReplyDeleteThis is so neat! I love the pic and the comments. I attended your workshop today in South Pittsburg Kasey! You are amazing and I am blessed to have met you. I am so thankful that the Lord is using the two of you to help others. I would love to hear your full testimony sometime, Kacie. I really learned a lot today and I appreciate everything. God Bless!!

ReplyDeleteAww thanks Janna! I am too nostalgic for my own good - but it's fun!

I LOVED your photo of PUBLIX! I also remember the GREEN STAMPS they gave out with each purchase! It was my 'job' as the youngest kid to lick and paste all the stamps in the little books. I can still remember the day we redeemed all those books for a croquet set!
ReplyDeleteThank you Crystal for your comments about the workshop at First Baptist in South Pittsburg this past weekend. I appreciate your support and kindness. Often times during times of dark valleys in our lives it is hard to imagine what it would look like to see the light shine through, at least thats how I felt. However, now that God would bless me so much that he can use the trials in my life for his glory.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the website goes, I can't take credit for all the work here. I passed the torch along to Jaime - who is a precious and an awesome blogger!!
Blessings, (Kasey)
