Okay, we've had SEVERAL of you write in about this, and I keep forgetting to post it - but I am finally getting around to it!
Disney wants to inspire one million people to volunteer a day of service to a participating organization in their communities. So they're celebrating these volunteers' good works by giving each of them a
1-day, 1-theme park ticket to the Disneyland® Resort or Walt Disney World® Resort, FREE!
There are a lot of rules to this dealio, so go
HERE and read through them. You'll need to:
- Pre-register through the site
- Sign up for AN ELIGIBLE VOLUNTEER LOCATION through the site (No, helping old ladies across the street doesn't count....)
- And have your service day verified before you receive your ticket.
I know a lot of you probably have volunteer projects planned already with church or for a community need - go

I've never been, so this would be really cool.....
I did this and it was great. I taught my children that it is important to help others and in return, we received a free day at Disney. (I did not tell them before hand that they would receive a free day at Disney until after they volunteered.) It only took three days to receive the vouchers after we volunteered.
ReplyDeleteOur family participated in this. We received our vouchers quickly. It was interesting to see the volunteer opportunities available. It is a great way to get the whole family involved in volunteering.
