A Mommy Moment!
I hope Kasey won't kill me for posting this, but she just sent me this picture from a pool party where she is with her kids (right now!). I just laughed - here's the message she wrote:
"A moms gotta do what a moms gotta do - even if it means jumping in the pool with your clothes on when your baby swims out too far."

ReplyDeleteI have so been there Kasey! Except with me, it was running (9 months pregnant) in front of a group of women to get my baby as he jumped off the DIVING BOARD without a lifevest. And then, I almost drowned us both because I am not a strong swimmer. Needless to say, we left that pool party early.
From what I can see from the other ladies in the picture, they don't seem to mind. Are they used to this type of behavior from you? Ha!
ReplyDeleteWhat were you thinking?!? You should have jumped in butt naked, and then you would have really been giving them something to talk about! Oh and did I mention that your clothes would have still been dry too... This is what happens when you decide go to a wild pool party without us!
