Our First $5 Challenge

We're not playing games, here is our first donation.  Warning, it's extremely addictive.  Once you start giving it's hard to stop:)

Photobucket

Yes, we are under our $5 challenge goal this trip.  Hubby and kids were in the car waiting and it was past nap time.  Need I say more?

Fellow couponers let's band together and show the world how much we can give because of couponing.  E-mail your donation pictures and we'll post a slide show to encourage and challenge each other.

We can make a difference in so many lives, be purposeful.  We are blessed so that we can be a blessing.

Send pics, ideas and deal finds to time2save@hotmail.com.  We don't have to post your name.  So don't be bashfull.

Publix Penny Item: Toilet Paper!

The Penny Item for this week at Publix (available Sunday/Monday only) is Publix Greenwise Toilet Paper!  Hooray! If I lived closer, I'd be stopping in both days for that freebie.  If you're not familiar with the Penny Item, you need to clip the coupon from the Publix ad in your Sunday Paper and bring it with you (some Publix don't care, but just in case..).  You will get the penny item FREE w/any $10 purchase.  The $10 is calculate BEFORE coupons, so even if your Post-Coupon total was 45¢, you'd still get your free TP.

To see what's good at Publix this week, check out our Publix Highlight Reel HERE

Walgreens Halloween Photo Deal!

If you're like me, then you line up all your kiddos and take pictures of them in their costumes on Halloween.  This is just a bad idea.  While they are fidgeting and wiggling and wiping off their meticulously painted "Ewok" noses- you begin to sweat and panic, knowing you will never have that perfect picture to send to the relatives.

Relax!  You should do a "Trial Run"!  A dress rehearsal, just for those precious photos.  And then, after you do- take advantage of this Walgreens 30 Prints for $3 deal.  This special lasts until October 31st, and you can choose to have your prints delivered to your favorite store for pickup, to avoid any shipping costs.  I love using Walgreens online photo service, because they're always sending me specials and it's pretty darn easy to use.
Just enter code: BOOPRINT at checkout to get the discount!

The $5 Time 2 Give Challenge

We told you a couple of weeks ago that we were going to make a determined focus on giving.  We issue a new challenge;  TIME 2 GIVE $5 CHALLENGE!

What can you do with $5?
Fellow Couponistas and Couponistos let's band together - start your donation stock pile NOW and lets see how much we can all collect over the next couple of weeks!  We have a Holiday Donation project we hope that you'll help us with.  How many families can we feed when we join together as "couponers" for a common goal?

Send us pictures of your $5 grocery haul and share your testimonial with us so that others can see.  We want to post a slide show of YOUR donations.  If we can challenge each other to save, wouldn't it be awesome to challenge each other to give?

Come back tomorrow and we'll tell you more about the $5 challenge.  We'll post a couple of our pictures along with scenarios that match this weeks sales.

Be purposeful in your shopping, include your family, teach your children the importance of serving others and look for people you can bless.
It is truly better to give than to receive.
