Rite-Aid Highlights: 11/8- 11/14

Rite-Aid has a few good Free-After-Rebate deals this week- but that Herbal Essence deal will get me in the door all by itself!  It must just be the week of FREE haircare at the drugstores (see the JohnFrieda deal at CVS!)

There's a $5 off $25 printable coupon on RedPlum.com, or a $5 off $20 HERE- use it to save even more off your total.  I've worked out a scenario at the bottom for how to use one of these coupons very effectively.  Enjoy!

Sunday Newspaper Inserts: 11/08

This week we can expect 2 inserts in the Sunday paper:
1 Smart Source (SS)
1 Red Plum (RP)

There looks to be some good ones- my favorites are Kelloggs, Tylenol cold medicine, Lysol, Pillsbury (in BOTH!), International Delight and Yolpait.  Of course, you never know exactly what to expect, as the coupons will vary GREATLY by region.  By the biggest paper around you for the most valuable coupons!
*ALSO: Check that the inserts are actually in your paper before buying it - Lately, it looks like some people have been taking the inserts out and leaving the sad, sad papers behind for unlucky couponers to find.

Walgreens Highlights: 11/8 - 11/14

This week at Walgreens, there are some pretty good deals on Baking supplies, more make-up and cold medicine, and of course- the month-long Freebies!  The Bayer Glucose Meter should work properly if you ask your cashier to adjust the coupon down- but I will say that in the past I have had cashiers refuse to do that, so be forewarned...

ALSO: There should be a coupon in your ad for $5 off a $25 Purchase.  The $25 is calculated AFTER all coupons and discounts, so if there's a way you can pile all your purchases into one big one, it will benefit you slightly!

Bi-Lo Competitor Coupon Match-Ups!

If you live around the Cleveland-Chattanooga, TN area- your Bi-Lo might be one of the stores that accepts competitor coupons in addition to MFR coupons (ask a manager to be sure).  Hooray for you!  There are some rules though:

  • Limit of 3 per customer/per transaction
  • Coupons must be for nearby competitors (i.e. FLIPs, Target Printables, Publix ad coupons)
  • No "$ off $$" amount coupons
  • Coupons for competitor store brands will work on Bi-Lo store brands (Food Lion chips = Bi-Lo chips)
  • It's EXTREMELY kind of these Bi-Lo's to offer us this opportunity for extra savings, so respect their right to make certain limitations, and do not abuse the privilege.

The reason you do not see me stacking (2) Target Printables on, say, the Quaker deal, is because both Target Q's and FLIPs say "Limit 1 per day" on them.  If we are expected to comply with the coupon's directions at Food Lion or Target, we should also do so at Bi-Lo.  Of course, you could go back the next day and do it again!  Do you see any good match-ups I missed?  Leave a comment!
