    Rite-Aid Highlights: 5/16 - 5/22

This week's Rite-Aid ad was kind of pitiful and... well, I guess I kept ignoring it.  I'm sorry Rite-Aid - don't be sad - Look!  I got around to you after all.  There is a pretty good deal on Huggies, and free band-aids are nothing to sneeze at - so go visit Rite-Aid if you need those things, it's probably feeling a little lonely this week!
    • Get Rite-Aid *MAY* Video Values Coupons HERE - earn 20 pts. and get a $5/$20 Printable!
    • Print a $5/$25 Coupon HERE (Use zipcode 19459 with a 50 mile radius)
    • You should use these BEFORE any other coupons, when your total is highest.  This is A-OK and even addressed in the Rite-Aid Corporate Coupon Policy HERE (Take a copy with you just in case!)
    • Although Rite-Aid in-ad coupons SAY Manufacturer coupons, they're NOT!!  The barcode is a store barcode, and will stack just fine with other coupons

*NEW* May Upromise Coupons are UP!

Save for College the Smart Way!

Okay - I know that it's already a good way through May - but I wanted to remind you that if you haven't loaded up your Upromise ECoupons yet... DO IT!   Here's one of the ones I really like this month:

$1/1 Bic Soleil Bella & $1/1 Bic Comfort 3 (LOAD)

*Look familiar?  That's right!  We have $3/1 coupons for these (4/18, 5/2 SS) & there are $2/1 printables out there as well!

Remember - the money you save w/ a Upromise E-Coupon goes into SAVINGS (to pay off a student loan - or to save for your kids' college).  You can also use a REGULAR coupon with that - so double savings!  Nothing will be saved/earned however, until you register your store loyalty cards HERE: do don't forget that step!

Go HERE to read our step-by-step tutorial on what Upromise is & how it works!

The End of Overdraft Fees? Starting July 1st!

If you haven't joined Daily Worth yet - I just wanted to tell you that it's very worth a couple minutes of your time each day.  They send daily bites of financial advice that are easy to understand and (as it turns out) super-helpful!  I was just reading about:
    • How banks will be Defaulting to Mandatory Overdraft Protection on debit cards starting July 1st (Unless you decline - read all the paperwork they're sending you!)
    • How to make a 3-Minute Summer Budget (Pull out the lawnchairs and enjoy your backyard!)
    • A FANTASTIC plan called the "One Hour Project": Spending just 1-Hour a week to to take small steps to eliminate debt.
The emails keep you "in the know" about new policies, tips for financial planning, how to save more money, and other helpful topics.  You can sign up HERE to start getting them too!

    $1/2 Lean Cuisine Coupon!

There is a great $1/2 Lean Cuisine coupon available HERE - usually those coupons usually only around $1/5, so this is a great printable!  - Thanks, PinkCouponCafe!

*These are $2.50 at Ingles this week w/ a FREE 6-Pack of Skinny Cow Bars wyb *6*.   If you could print off 3 of these coupons,  Lean Cuisines would be only $2 ea + Free Skinny Cow Bars!  Not bad at all.

$1.49 Purex at Walgreens (And how you have to just spend those RR sometimes!)

Last night I ran by Walgreens and when I tried to pay with a Register Reward from a couple weeks ago - the cashier pointed out that it had expired on the 12th.  ARRGHH!  I hate when that happens, don't you?

So this week, using my $4.50 RR I earned from the Gillette Deal, I plan to simply buy a few things I need so that it won't expire on me.  Depending on how absent-minded you are, it is sometimes the best plan!  My favorite non-RR deals this week is the Purex for $1.49 & the Hefty Bags:

Purex Natural Elements $2.49 (Reg. $5.59!)
    Use $1/1 PRINT
    (makes it $1.49 ea!)

    Hefty One-Zip Bags BOGO $3.29
    Use $1/2 PRINT
    (makes it $1.15 ea)

I'll buy 2 Purex + 2 Hefty Bags for $5.28 (after coupons above)
    I'll use my $4.50 RR
    I'll only pay 78¢ + tax!

Tell us your Walgreens plan for this week!

Don't throw out your 5/16 Newspaper Ads!

Did I catch you in time?  Whew - good!  Because there are a couple goodies you need to snip off those ads before you get rid of them!
