DOUBLES!!!!!!!

Starting Sunday 4/19

I just talked to Lisa at Kmart in Cleveland. Listed below are guidelines for doubles.

• No store coupons only manufacturer coupons. EVEN if the coupon says manufacturer on them and has another stores name - they will not accept them. No Food Lion, Bi-Lo, Walgreens or CVS ect...
• Coupons can NOT be redeemed for ANY TRIAL sized products. Even if the coupon does not specifically say no trial size, it is Kmart's policy to not accept coupons for trial size products.
• No overage. For example, if an item is $1.79 and you have a coupon for $1.00 off, the coupon will not double to $2.00, instead it will only increase to the value of the product. So the $1.00 coupon on a $1.79 item increases to a value of $1.79 off.
• Internet coupons are accepted if they scan. If they do not scan they will not accept.
• Will only double coupons up to $2.00. Any coupon above $2.00 is redeemed at face value only. ex: A $3.00 coupon is redeemed as $3.00.

She said that last time they had doubles a lot of customers were rude and difficult to deal with. I told her that we always tell everyone who comes to our workshops to be kind. Remember, its only a coupon its not worth. Also, when making purchases during doubles be mindful not to make returns. Hopefully, this will be a good experience for everyone. This is a great time to work on your stockpile!

Easy Breezy RECIPE ROUNDUP

My Family loves this quick & easy Chili alone or on hot dogs.

Coney Island Chili / Chili Dogs
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (12-ounce) jar chili sauce
1 (1.48-ounce) packet chili seasoning
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
8 beef hot dogs
8 hot dog buns
Shredded Cheddar, to serve
In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef stirring constantly to break up all the clumps into fine pieces. Add the chili sauce, chili seasoning, water, Worcestershire, mustard and onion powder. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, boil the hot dogs according to package instructions. Place hot dogs in buns, top with chili, cheddar cheese, and chopped white onion. Serve with Spicy Fries.

Spicy Fries
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1 (26-ounce) bag frozen crispy French fries
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Combine taco seasoning and salt; set aside.
On baking sheets make a single layer of French fries. Bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes and season with the spicy salt mixture. Serve with chili dogs.

CARISSA'S Bi-Lo Trip Saved 61.64%

Carissa just completed all of our workshops, Couponing 101, 102, & 103. She emailed us her picture and savings. She said that she had to buy some essential items that weren't at a great price, otherwise she would have saved more. We think she did great! In the beginning before your stockpile is built up you will have to buy more of those "must haves."
