HOT TIP! 49¢ Leap Frog Alphabet Pal!

Well good morning!  Rise & Shine porcupines, because this deal might just get you out of your pajamas and into action:

Starting at 3 PM today, Toys R Us is having a 2-Day Sale.  During this sale, the Leapfrog Alphabet Pal will be on sale for $10.49.  Here's how to get it for 49¢....
  • Go to Toys R Us early to get the ad.  The Friday paper may have it if you're lucky, but I'm not sure.
  • Take it with you to the Target Customer Service Desk for price-matching.
  • Also take this $10/1 Target Coupon PRINT
Total after Price-Match and Coupon: 49¢

How GREAT this would be to donate to needy kids this year (besides giving it as a present)?
Pretty Darn Great.

  3. Really? I'm sorry, did they explain why they wouldn't? Their coupon policy states that you can price-match in conjunction with a coupon- what leg were they standing on?
My Target sold out of them this way before I could even get there this morning!

  4. The Target on Gunbarrel wouldn't honor it either! They said that the 10.49 was a doorbuster and they don't honor doorbusters 1. and 2. You can't use a coupon with a price match? I actually spoke with the manager and there were several other people there doing the same thing! We were denied!

  6. I actually asked them if I could see a copy of corporate policy and was told that they do not have it. The manager actually said he would honor the doorbuster price OR let you use the coupon but you could not do both. I was told that it is a "hot toy" this year and that their price with coupon (19.99 - 10Q= 9.99) was even better than the Toys R Us sales price. I actually had 3 different CR people standing there fussing at me as though I couldn't understand what they were saying. My reply was over and over "That is fine. I understand it is your right to choose what to honor and not honor. I just wish you would give me an exact policy so I know in the future what will work and what will not." That got another person to preach at me. Actually a couple of them were quite rude - I wish I had thought to get their name because I am considering writing corporate about the whole visit.

Between Target and the Walgreens in Soddy Daisy it has been a frustrating week for couponing. :)
