  6. I gave my sister a homemade Jesse Tree ornament set last year along with a devotional guide. I think it's the best gift b/c it started a tradition in her family that will keep Christ the center of Christmas. (I became a FB fan.)

  7. My favorite gift is a few years ago I gave my sis-in-law a necklace made with handmade beads. It was a beautiful amethyst color. She loved it and it made me so happy to see her enjoy it.

  8. My favorite gift that I have given was a John Boat to my husband. He had to open boxes with a clue to where the next clue could be found. My neighbor had hidden the boat behind his house, so my husband was outside in his p.j.'s looking for clues on Christmas morning.

  14. The best gift I have given was a surprise trip to the mountains for my husband. It was a lot of work to get all of the details worked out secretly on my own (especially because I was so excited about the surprise), but it was so worth it when he opened the card with the details written out!
