Who is Nielsen Digital Voice?

Nielsen Digital Voice provides independent measurement analysis of online audiences, advertising, video, blogs, consumer-generated media, word of mouth, e-commerce and consumer behavior.  Nielsen Media Research is the world's leading provider of television, radio and print audience measurement and advertising information services.

As you'll see as you continue to read this post I get a little fired up when it comes to what is being targeted to my kids in today's media.  So when someone like Neilson wants my opinion or to analyze my online habits and see what websites I visit most often I more than welcome it.  If there are to be any changes made in the media, there has to be a demand for that change, and evidence of a guaranteed audience. 


I am shocked by some of the junk on the internet and TV.  It's everywhere you can't go to facebook or your email account without a scantily clad female in a banner ad down the whole left side of the screen.   Unfortunaly what was unacceptable 20 years ago is the norm now.  Where has our "shock factor" gone?
