My (Jamie Here!) morning routine:
My 7 year old never fails to wake me at 6:30 or 7 to announce that he needs socks, or that we're out of clean spoons, or possibly that one of "the brothers" won't share the back of the cereal box (not the cereal, just the back of the box). After my sunny wake-up call, I get out of bed and stumble, bleary-eyed, down the stairs and in the general direction of the coffee-maker. As always, I kick myself for not prepping a pot the night before. Now it's too late and I have to run the boys to school.... sigh. Finally home again. Coffee-started. Sitting down to the computer with hot caffeiney goodness - (sip) - ahhhh.... NOW I can begin my day!
