Take A Night Off - $25 Restaurant Gift Certificates for $2!

Preparation of a Meal:
Read the grocery lists, clip the coupons you need, plan your trip strategy, go to the grocery, put the groceries away, look up the recipe, cook the food, set the table, serve the food, clear the table, wash the dishes, collapse.  Hold on - did you even get to sit down to eat?

If the above description sounds about right - you need a break from cooking for a night!  Go out - let someone else cook for you - and enjoy the company of your family without refilling your children's drinks every 5 minutes and cleaning up after them!   Not only that, but do it cheaply with Restaurants.com gift certificates.

You can get $25 Restaurant Gift Cards for only $10 at Restaurant.com, and right now they are 80% Off when you use code "COOK". That makes a $25 restaurant gift card only $2!  Go HERE to see the restaurants in your local area.

FREE Broadway Nails Product

Broadway nail items start at $1.99 at most stores, this coupon will make them FREE!

When I found this coupon I was thinking "Drugstore artificial nails? I'll pass on this coupon."  And then I checked out the site to see what kind of products they had - and there are some fun sticker nail art kits and other items you could tuck into a girly Easter Basket!
I've always been a nail-biter, so no nail-art for me, but I remember how much I loved getting those sheets of stick-on earrings.....  Simpler times!

$1/2 Ortega Coupon & $10 Coupon Book Offer

My family loooooves "Taco Night" - so I'll be signing up for this one!  First go HERE to print a $1/2 Ortega Coupon.  I know the seasoning is on sale for 70¢ at Target, so 20¢ after coupon!

Next, go HERE to print out a form for a free Ortega Cookbook, including $10 in Ortega Coupons. You have to send in a receipt of an Ortega purchase + $2.50 S&H for this cookbook/coupons - but I guess if you makes Mexican food often, both the cookbook & the coupons would be worth your trouble!

See the Savings!

Sometimes, you just get tired of reading lists of numbers, prices, totals - and you just want to see what people had in their cart when they walked out of the store!  Reader, Kathy, sent in this picture of her Publix trip last week - way to go Kathy!!!

"I got all of this at Publix for $27!!"

Walgreens Addicts - Rejoice!

For some, Walgreens can be a harrowing experience.

Things never go smoothly, you leave frustrated, and half the time you end up crying in the car on the way home.....  yet you keep going back for more!  Well, as much as Kasey, Kelly, and I (Jaime) try to guide you through the perilous waters of Walgreens, we don't have the resources to focus too much of our time on 1 store.   That's why I want to introduce you to a wonderful new site called Wild for Wags!

Christie is a seasoned Walgreens veteran, and she'll be posting not only weekly coupon matchups and RR deals, but Monthly RR deals, IVC (the in-store pamphlet) Coupon Booklet matchups, Children's Activity Book updates, Clearance finds, and Rolling Scenarios for RR deals!

I'll be referring to her for our weekly Walgreens Highlights - but this is also a wonderful tool for you to use when you want to check out a couple other scenario options, see what other Walgreens shoppers are saying, or scope out a good clearance deal.  So stop by and show her some good ole' Southern Hospitality - because you know that girl is going to be doing lots of work on our behalf!

Cheap Dr. Pepper at Bi-Lo - Ocoee Crossings Location

Kelly here...I ran into BiLo to get my husband a birthday cake (yes it's today and yes it's a BIG one!) I happened to see they had Dr. Pepper 2 liters for $1.69 (awful price), but most had 55¢ peelies on them. The peelies started with a 5, so they double to $1.10 off making the total only 59¢ each. This included regular, diet and the cherry flavors.  Now remember, don't get the peelies unless you are buying it and you must use your Bonus card to get the coupon to double.  For all the Dr. Pepper fans out there - today's your day!

Extra Publix Deals Using Family Dollar Coupons

For those of you whose Publix accepts Family Dollar as a competitor - I've pulled together all the items that match up with the current Family Dollar Coupon Booklet (in stores now).  Some of these items weren't in my Highlights List because they didn't make great deals on their own - but they're a little better with these matchups!

If you were feeling left out when I told you about the $7.99 Girls Mary Janes ealier this week, then here's a little something for you!  I was looking around on the Crocs outlet to see what else was on sale, and the $24.99 Women's Mary Janes are currently only $11.99 Shipped!
That's a great deal on a comfortable pair of shoes (These would make good "Grocery Shopping Shoes"), but it ends soon!

This offer is only valid through the end of tomorrow (3/24) - so hurry up and order while they still have TONS of sizes and colors available!

Suave Catalina at Bi-Lo: UPDATE!

Well, guys - let me start out with an apology.  If you already went and tried my "not-so-Suave" scenario, you'll know by now it was a dud.  Apparently, instead of getting your 4th Suave free at checkout as part of the B3 ~ Get 1 Free promotion - you get it as a catalina coupon. That makes my previous scenario groupings totally wacko.
I just spent way too much money on Kids Shampoos, and I was so frazzled, I even forgot to get rainchecks for the Suave deodorants!  Ugh - do you ever just have one of those trips??
Okay, here's your new and improved scenario - my way of making up for the last one.  It's only good until tomorrow, so get it tonight or at least get rainchecks!
*The 1st is the most expensive transaction, after that, they are cheaper due to the Freebie Coupon.

1) Buy 3 Suave Kids/Professionals Shampoos @ $1.69 ea
Use (1) 50¢/2 or $1/2 Q from the 3/14 SS
Pay $4.18 ~ Get a Free Suave Coupon

2) Buy (3) Suave Kids Shampoos @ $1.69 ea
Use (1) 50¢/2 or $1/2 Q + (1) Free Suave Coupon
Pay $2.40 ~ Get a Free Suave Coupon

Keep going for as long as you want with these freebie coupons - the cost will be $2.40 each time.  That's just 80¢ ea!  While this doesn't seem awesome when you're used to getting free shampoo - the Tear-Free Kids Shampoo doesn't go on sale very often, so it's a good buy in my opinion.

Got Ink?

If you're a couponer, you go through ink at lightning speed!  And when you run out, it feels like you are the only one in the world missing out on all those deals  - I know this, because last time I ran out, I was too cheap to buy ink for a month.... :)

InkOrbit is a great option for getting discount replacement cartridges at up to 85% Off - and right now they're running a March Madness sale!  PLUS - if your total comes to $55 or more, you will get FREE Shipping!  Just click the image on the right to check out pricing and see if your printer type is included in the list of available cartridges.

These are Re-manufactured Cartridges, but they have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and a 1-800 number for Customer Service.
  • Here's a screenshot of the one I am ordering - the black cartridge for my HP Photosmart is normally $25.95.  Inkorbit has it for just $13.99!

  • Buying twinpacks are a good idea too, so you'll have a backup - and it will get you closer to your $55 (Think: Free Shipping) mark.  Those color cartridges are so expensive!

FREE CVS Shampoo & Conditioner!

If you scan your card at the Magical Coupon Machine inside CVS, you are likely to get a $1/1 CVS brand Shampoo/Conditioner coupon.  Well, Jess at The Frugal Life noticed that the CVS shampoo/conditioners pictured above are only 99¢!
You can usually get another of these scanner coupons EVERY DAY, so get all you can while they're still printing!

Donation Alert! - If you are loyal to just one shampoo, and this ain't it - just toss this in your donation box every time you score one!  You don't know how many folks out there would love some CVS Kiwi Shampoo.
