2900 Front Porch Friends!

Okay - I'm just in the middle of putting together the Food Lion ad (there's Free Milk!) and I happened to see that our Facebook Fan # just reached 2900!  WOW!

It's so fun to have a whole community of Time2Savers - I just can't believe there are this many!  Whenever I go to read all the posts on our facebook page, I feel like I'm walking through a neighborhood of warm, funny, friendly, nosy, helpful, housewives/women/men all hanging out on their porches chatting with each other.   We're a front-porch neighborhood - in cyberspace- and I'm so happy to have you all as my friendly neighbors!

Be careful though, if I find out one of you lives close to me, I'll forever be over there asking to borrow a cup of sugar and an egg.  :)

Join the Potato Challenge!!

No - this isn't a competition to see who can be the laziest couch potato :)  It's a Potato GIVING Challenge, to restock our food pantries with a simple staple item!

Food Pantries rely on easy-prep, long expiration-date items like instant potatoes to hand out to families in need.  There are currently EIGHT Coupons available for Betty Crocker potatoes (priced around $1 at most stores) - each of them making a free or almost-free box of Betty Crocker potatoes.  Will you the "Potato Challenge" by purchasing some to give to your food pantry?  Here are some store deals to help you get started:

NOTE: If your catalina doesn't print, speak with a manager - it's been giving people trouble.

Use the form below to tell us how many boxes of potatoes you were able to give - and you can link to your blog if you have one.  Let's encourage each other!

- Thanks to PublixPennyPincher for starting the ball rolling on this - what a great idea!

CVS: FREE Skincare Item + FREE Paper Product!

If you haven't scanned your CVS card this week at the "Magic Coupon Machine" - it's worth going by for that purpose alone!  Most folks are getting a $1 Off CVS Skincare Item and $1 Off CVS Paper Product (I got them on my second swipe tonight).  Here are some ideas for FREE or very cheap items with these coupons:

-$1 Off Skincare:
99¢ Cocoa Butter Stick (That's what I got, for my poor cracked heels)
99¢ Cotton Swabs, Q-tips, etc... in the trial area
99¢ Trial Size Lotion
Look for clearanced CVS brand lotions/face products like Bioluxe and others

-$1 Off Paper Product:
99¢ Travel Cup Moist Towelette Wipes (in baby section)
2/99¢ Travel Pack CVS Facial Tissues
Cheap Notepad?
$1.15 Green Essentials Toilet Paper Single Roll (Will be 2/$1 Next Week!)
$1.15 Travel Pack of CVS Soft, Cottony Cloths (Baby Wipes)
$1.29 Green Essentials Paper Towel Roll
$2 Reg. Size CVS Baby Wipes

There are SO MANY options to use this on!  The interpretation of "Skincare" and "Paper Product" can be vague - so your store may vary on accepting some of these.  I got the CVS wipes for cheap-o makeup remover wipes (What can I say, I'm lazy at night) and the Cocoa Butter Stick.  I plan to go back daily to scan and grab more items.  What did you get???

ALSO:  If you haven't gone since April 1st, you'll also be receiving your quarterly spending Extra Care Bucks Reward (I only got $1, but hey, I don't spend much there!)

Rite-Aid Highlights: 4/4 - 4/10

There are just a few deals that are really good this week.  I did just spend a very long time working on a scenario for this week's Rite-Aid Allergy Rebate, when I realized that the Rebate only counts the price you pay AFTER coupons - which made for a much worse deal.

• Get Rite-Aid Video Values Coupons HERE - earn 20 pts. and get a $5/$20 Printable!
• Print a $5/$25 Coupon HERE.
• You should use these BEFORE any other coupons, when your total is highest.  This is A-OK and even addressed in the Rite-Aid Corporate Coupon Policy HERE (Take a copy with you just in case!)
• Although Rite-Aid in-ad coupons SAY Manufacturer coupons, they're NOT!!  The barcode is a store barcode, and will stack just fine with other coupons.
