Staples: $1 Paper

For those of you who are overwhelmed by the demands printing coupons takes on your paper supply, I've got a good deal for you on that!

Staples is having the current Easy Rebate deal on paper right now:

Hammermill 500ct Ream of Paper: $6.29
- $1.29 instant savings
- $4 Easy Rebate
(makes it $1)  *limit 2

Note: Submit it online and receive a check for the amount of the rebate within 4-6 weeks.

Also, if you're desperately in need of printer ink, Walgreens has their B&W or Color Ink Refills on sale for $9.99 this week (normally $12.50) w/in-ad coupon.  I was once able to use RR to pay for these, though I'm not sure if this form of payment is accepted normally or not.  It wouldn't hurt to ask, as that would be a great thing to use RR on!

FREE Eyeliner to first 10,000: UPDATED LINK

You, Me & Everybody on the web had trouble with this this morning - so I went and scouted out a better link:  go HERE to enter, and when it asks for your "codeword" enter the word: "liner"!  Also, when it asks for your bday, make sure it's 1980 or sooner, because this freebie will only be good for those 13-29 (Discriminatory, I say!!!)

Just a little morning freebie to go with your coffee....

Go HERE, enter code LINER, and you'll get a free Hard Candy Eyeliner in SOY!
*Hey, it's not a huge freebie, but it makes a trip to the mail box much more fun!

New Years Workshop Giveaway WINNER!

Congratulations to ....The Dillards!
"I took a workshop in November. It was a Christmas gift from my mom! I had been following Time 2 $ave for some time before that. My Father in law has been out of work since June. We have always had to "help" my Mother in law and her husband, but being an avid couponer has really given us the opportunity to bless well beyond what we would be able to do if I were paying full price for things. I hope to win this workshop, I will give it to my Mother in law so she can grasp the concept and stop spending $4 for a box of cereal!"
Comment #2 was randomly chosen as the winner of Coupong 101, 102 & 103 Workshops ($40 Value) in the form of a Gift Certificate.  Please email us your address to send it out right away!

NEW!! Simplify Sundays

We would like to introduce you to a very special lady named Debbie McCuiston.  She is going to be doing a segment for us each Sunday on simplifying our lives, getting rid of "clutter", and focusing on what's important.  We're really excited about this new segment - and hope you are too!  Take it away Debbie....

Since this is the first of (hopefully of many) ways to simplify your life, let's get started. If you are like most of the people in America you have made you new year's resolutions. I don't write them down anymore, that way there is no real  evidence that they ever existed when by the 2nd wk in Jan I have totally forgotten all about them.
The best advice I can give you at this point is-- make up your mind. Reality is you can not lose those 50 pounds and repaint the house or organize your life all by May.
Stop trying to do it ALL!!!!!

Make a list of what you want to accomplish in the  span of the next 24 hours. Then get started, stop making up reasons why you can't do it. Make it a priority!!! Right now mine is getting christmas stuff put away so I can see what needs to be done. So as we speak my darling husband (no I don't rent him out) is packing up the decorations so I can write. Our goal is to have them done before bed tonight. If you have already put yours away, I am impressed!!! So go get that junk drawer cleaned out. Do one small thing  each day this week to make your goals for the new year a reality. Spend no more that 30 minutes a day, BUT make sure you work on the project for the whole time not thinking about it or pondering what else you could be doing. DO NOT go on to another project until you complete the task at hand.
Helpful hint: When in doubt if you should keep something- ask your kids or any family member "when I die will you want this or will you keep this?" The responses will put your saving ways in perspective. My kids have helped me get rid of several truck loads of things I was saving for them or their kids. Their comments ranged from "Why in the world would I want that? I have always hated it!" to "What were you thinking!!"
Organize your life one drawer at a time.

If have any questions or comments please e-mail me at --- queenofclutterfree@ yahoo.com.  May God bless you as you begin clearing the clutter that keeps us in bondage and hinders us for being who he created us to be.  Click HERE to read an article about Debby.

Time 2 Save, Time 2 Give Workshops

So you've never been to a workshop... you may already have the couponing thing down.  Why would you want to go to a workshop?  The first reason that comes to my head is - THEY'RE FUN!!!  We love bringing our stories of shopping, couponing, life and living to share with all of you - did I mention that the fun part is doing all these things with 5 kids ages 6 and under. Isn't life grand?!  Another reason for attending a workshop is to learn the latest on couponing, truly understanding the different ways coupons can be used together for more savings, getting on the right page for store policies...whoops! That was more than one reason.

Putting all that aside, we want you to come because we want to meet YOU.  You're the heart of what we do and why we do it.  We completely understand that no one wakes up and says "Yea! I can't wait to cut out some coupons today!"  If you do think that, please don't tell the rest of us :)  What we do say is how much we love hearing your story, seeing your triumph through struggles, being near to cry over your grief and rejoicing in your successes.

Here are the class details, including our schedule.
Here's how you can register as a new participant.
Here's how you can attend again for FREE!

Walgreens Deals: 1/3 - 1/9

UPDATE: John Freida $5/2 is the only one that works for that deal, so I removed the other link. Also, the Neosporin in-ad coupon was for the 1 oz size, so I changed that coupon to the Children's Activity Book Coupon to match the sale size.

This week at Walgreens has so many free and cheap items - I'm going to walk out of there feeling like I stole something!  There are a couple scenarios at the bottom for you this week as well.
Keep in mind: Some of the fabulous coupons coming out in the 1/3 paper may NOT come to your area - consider checking ebay for them if it's something you really want.
P.S. If your store runs out of Electrasol - and they likely WILL - the dollar stores often have these for around $2.50- You will certainly find a good deal to use this coupon on soon!

Cheap Axe & Pajamas at Target

Besides all the clearance candy, decor, and stocking stuffers at Target right now, there are 2 more things worth checking out while you roam the aisles:

In the toddler section, there are pajams with Polar Bears for boys (and something else for girls) that are normally $8.99, but are scanning for $2.49!!  They don't have anything Christmasy on them - and are super cute - so they would be a great present. These were not with any other clearance when I went, which is why I hold out some hope you might be able to score a set!

The other good deal you might want to check out is the AXE gift sets - on sale for $5 each.  If you buy 2 ~ You Get a $5 Target Gift Card!
Use (2) $1/1 Printable coupons HERE to pay $8 and get $5 back!
NOTE: I just heard that this deal has been extended until February!

(Also, if you have the August ESPN, Mens Fitness, or Details magazine lying around - there was a BOGO AXE coupon in those somewhere too....)

New Years Eve: Family Style!

Happy New Year's Eve to all of you out there!  Are you going to do anything fun tonight?  While lots of people are going out to celebrate the beginning of a new decade, I've really enjoyed the last several years we've spent at home celebrating the night "Family Style".  Here's how we ring in the new year with our 4 boys - aged 3, 5, 7, and 9:
  • THE BALL:  We make a "New Years Ball" out of a halloween pumpkin treat bucket, covered in tin foil, with a string of white christmas lights wound/taped around it.  I am sure you can imagine how ghetto-beautiful this is.  But it matters not!!!  Hang it from the ceiling fan, plug in the lights, and INSTANT AMBIENCE!  It also makes a fine disco ball for the dancing that will ensue...

  • PLAY DRESS UP!  That's right - we dress up.  And not in the strict sense of the word either.  I make my hubby wear that too-tight-vest that I think makes him look like one of the "Newsies" (HOT!), I put on some crazy formal gown (I have a collection of odd vintage-wear), and the boys come out of their rooms in clothes ranging from "Date-Casual" to "Head-To-Toe-Cowboy" to "Batman".  Addie, our 3 year old, said he'll be "dressing up" as a dinosaur this year.  Cool.
  • SNACK IT UP:  Don't skimp on the party treats - kids can smell a sad hors d'oevres table a mile away.  Bust out all the couponing treats you've been squirrelling away, and even go out and splurge on something unexpected.  Our kid buffet this year includes M&M's, Nuts, Chips, Pizza Rolls, Mozzarella Sticks, Taco Dip, and various sodas.  (Hot wings for the husband of course)

  • DANCE PARTY:  We put on music and just let people do their thing.  Other time-fillers: Charades, balloon-volleyball, make-a-noisemaker craft(soda bottles and beans), board games, movies.
  • MAKE SOME NOISE: When the midnight hour arrives (or, about 9 o'clock at our house) we go outside and bang pots and pans together shouting "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" to the neighborhood.  If you have nicer cookwear, you might opt for poppers, noisemakers, or those things you pull and confetti comes out!

  • GROWN-UP TIME:  Our kids still can't stay up till midnight, so my husband and I put them down (we let them "Slumber Party" together if they're still wired) and we watch an old movie after they're in bed.  Later on, when the ball drops, we'll do a clumsy but sentimental slow dance to Auld Lang Syne.
Well - that's how our family rings in the New Year .....  Now tell us how YOUR Family does it!

Have a Joyful & Blessed New Year!!

FREE New Years Eve Movie Rental

Once you put the kids to bed, you're either going to be stuck watching Ryan Seacrest introduce tweenie bands, stuffing your face with any and all snackfood in the house before your New Years Resolution Diet has to "officially" start at midnight, or both.

Fortunately, you can run out and rent a FREE movie Instead!
Redbox code ACME25 is still working - and can be used once per debit/credit card!

FREE Dora the Explorer Game Download!

This $19.99 game can be yours free, just by signing up HERE for updates from Nickelodeon/Nick Jr!  You'll get an email with a code and instructions - and I assume you can stop getting updates anytime you please.  I would say that "little girls" are going to love this...but I have 2 little boys who think that she's a "Super-Cool-Exploradora" too!
